Trade name:

Polawax™.
Polawax™ is a premier non-ionic self-emulsifying wax that has a good balance of vegetable-derived emulsifiers and stabilizers (Cetearyl Alcohol and Ethoxylated Sorbitan Ester).

DESCRIPTION

Creamy, dreamy beauty products begin with Polawax. This product is a preparation of higher fatty alcohols that create thick emulsions without the need for additional stiffening waxes. It works well as a sole emulsifier, thickener, and stabilizer in an emulsion. It can be used in creams, lotions, body butters, conditioners, face cleansers, and baby products.

The recommended usage level of Polawax is 2-10% of the total formulation weight.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

These Little Beads Do a Lot: Polawax works as an effective emulsifier, thickener, and stabilizer in a variety of products such as creams, lotions, body butters, conditioners, and face cleansers. Recommended usage is approximately 25% of the total oil phase. Run test batches when formulating.
