The diverse ocean, desert, and mountain habitats of this country grow approximately 4,300 species of vascular plants, 45% of which are native to the country. Its Northern region is a desert as is home to a few varieties of vegetation such as brambles and cacti. The heavily mineralized sedimentary soils and the Mediterranean climate of the Central Valley are home to various cacti species, a thorny shrub called Espino, and grasses. The Chilean Lily of the Valley tree and Acacia trees can be found at altitudes up to 2,500 feet (760 metres). In Southern Chile, dense rain forests are found to contain Laurel, Magnolia, False Beech, and a variety of conifers. Chilean carrier oil exports include Grapeseed Oil, Organic Grapeseed Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, Rosehip Extra Virgin, and Rosehip Refined Oil, Organic Rosehip Oil.
